Gary and his guys came to my 100 year old historic home to do a simple dry rot repair. It turned out to be much more than dry rot and not all that simple. From start to finish Gary and his team did everything in an upfront, professional manner that always put my concerns first. When the project turned out much larger Gary coordinated permits, inspections, subcontractors and even had the waterproofing completed with a 20 year warranty. Definitely would call Gary first next time I am in need.
Gary has been my go to guy for 15 years. He has done a kitchen, roof, siding, rot repair, bathroom and replaced all of my windows. His attention to detail is amazing. The one time I used another contractor on a bathroom it all went wrong. After that Gary is my guy every time for all time
I called GO construction to help with a garage remodel. Our garage had been just studs for almost 30 years and we wanted to create some more useful space. Gary came out and provided a very reasonable and detailed estimate which we approved. We decided to sheet the walls with plywood instead of sheet rock for the added flexibility in hanging things. His crew came out and they were great. They did exactly what needed to be done, even adding some extra blocking when needed. They were on time, cleaned up every day, and were totally professional. We needed to add a shower to a bathroom and decided to do a full remodel for my elderly mother. We asked around about contractors and Gary Ottinger was highly recommended. Now we know why. He was extremely thorough in creating the estimate and he and his crew are meticulous about their work. Every single thing they did was high quality craftsmanship (even the way they thought through the paths for the electrical and plumbing in the walls). I could always get ahold of Gary and he regularly communicated next steps. His main crew, Peter and Rod, showed up every day, were so sweet with my mom who asked them numerous questions, and would check in with me about decisions that needed to be made (and be willing to talk them through). I was sad to see them go when they finished the project. It was a painless experience and our bathroom is gorgeous!
We needed dry rot repair on the outside of our house and Gary and his crew did a great job. They were prompt, conscientious and very professional. And they always cleaned up after themselves! We have a lot more work for them to do after the holidays, but it's nice to know we found someone we trust and who does excellent work

My son just bought a house in Rohnert Park and upon a home inspection it was noted there was a lot of dry rot on the exterior. We called some contractors and either the estimate was too high or they couldn't put us on the schedule until September. Then I found Go Construction. The owner Gary came out immediately and provided a very reasonable quote with a start date of two weeks. Gary and the crew came out and did a fantastic job and kept looking at ways to save us money. Construction worker Pete kept me informed every step of the way. I had them look at an area under the deck and found more dry rot. No problem, they took care of everything. Can't say enough good things about Go Construction and would recommend them for any construction need
